Savannah stood up, crossed the room, and sat down next to her Husband, snuggling into his arms.
"Everything will be okay." Fletcher tried to soothe her, rubbing his thumb across his back.
"Just hold me." She replied. "And please stop rubbing my back."
"Okay." He replied, before Joshua broke the silence.
"How long will she have before she needs to become a vampire?" He asked. "Will she be able to survive the next few months?"
"She will need to become a vampire shortly after the ritual," Fletcher replied. "No more than two weeks if she wants to live, as that amount of power wasn't meant to be held by a human, let alone one so young."
"Is there any leeway in the 'no becoming a supernatural being before the Fall Equinox'?" Savannah asked. Genifer cleared her throat.
