I can't believe she has done this to me, Peia thought as she watched the small TV in her room, a tear rolling down her cheek. I mean, I know that she was a tough as nails manager who made me do things I didn't want to do, but I always thought that she had some integrity. A nurse came into the room and turned it off.
"It really is despicable, what she said." The nurse said as she checked the IV line device. "Please don't take her mean words to heart, Miss Jet. I don't know you well at the moment, but what I do know is that you are a hardworking person, and you have so much to live for now that you are no longer tethered to a career that you had no real love for. You have so much to live for, Miss Jet. now you have a chance to live your life as you see fit." The nurse finished as Peia turned onto her side.
