Esmee and Hunter had only just gotten home when her phone went off.
"Hello?" She answered the phone.
"Esmee! Are you okay?" Savannah asked from the other end of the phone. "Hunter said you were in trouble."
"No, I am not okay. Give me a moment and I will put you on speaker phone." She replied, turning the speakerphone tool on. "Are you there?"
"Yeah, we are." James replied. "What do you mean, you are not okay?"
"My father-in-law just tried to kill me, and Hunter had to tackle me to stop me from aiding him." She replied calmly. "How are you guys doing?"
"A lot better than you are, apparently." Jeremy replied. "Can you put Hunter on?"
"You are already on speakerphone." Hunter said in response.
"Then WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING, ATTACKING MY SISTER LIKE THAT?!" Jeremy asked.
