Nicholas nods his head and takes in a deep breath. "Thank you." He began to walk towards the door leaving Saraphine behind, when he aksed her again. "what if the orphaned boy had gold eyes and piercing look? What if he...what if he later fell in love with her?"
Phantasy and Nicholas held each others gaze for some time. Saraphine stares at the man. She could see why she liked him the most in her past life. The man would act tough but deep down he too just wanted love. He wanted to be sure he really wasnt a fool in love back then. He wanted to know if he had really stood a chance with Phantasy back then or if she had just decided to be with him for something else.
Phantasy was quick to reply after thinking about it. "Then...I am afraid the boy is being foolish."
"Why?" He softly asked.
"If she had said such things then his special gold eyes and piercing looks will not be able to save him. Or perhaps she needed him for something else."
