Lowering his voice by a octave he honestly said. "I cant leave here without her."
Saraphine who was sitting on the bed and looking out the window immediately turns her head to him. "You cant leave here without her?"
Nicholas rubs his forehead. This was stupid and he knows it. Why will he be telling such things to a little one? How was she to understand it excatly when even he is yet to undertsand what was going on. Saraphine might be wiser than her age but some things were still beyond her understanding.
"Nevermind. That was stupid." He smiles at her which surprised her because Nicholas rarely smiles. Rubbing her hair he says. "You a little girl. Go read some story books or go on that money gram stuff you like."
After saying this he rose from the bed and began walking towards the door when he heard Saraphines frustrated voice.
