Phantasy could not dare to raise her head to gauge the mans expression. She knew it wouldn't be a pleasant view. Afterall, a man like Nicholas Fretakis must value his reputation. To be mistaken for some other man, that would surly hurt his mountain sized ego.
She could feel his finger tapping one lowered back as if waiting for her to say soemthing to clear the awkward silence.
Gently raising her head she was surprised to see his expression wasn't as bad she had expected. In fact it was amusing.
"Amusing right? Sorry, I tend to make mistakes."
He took another step backward finally letting her leave the table. "Not to worry. It happens. Dance with me."
Phantasy didnt know why but she felt unsettled. The fact that this man was ignoring her words and wasn't even curious about why she said that, made her know that something wasn't right.
