"Aah!" Kara clapped her hands together. "So, the point is we were informed about your organization so we don't want to find out about your organization because that would be troublesome for your organization?"
"More or less so." Jon nodded with a smile. Evan could see the corners of the old man's lips twitching slightly. Apparently, he was annoyed that he had to explain that to Kara for so long.
"Let's discuss something else." Tony rubbed his face, then took a deep breath. "So, what should we do, Mr. Jon? We're not going to be sitting around in this plain room all the time, are we?"
"We'll get to that part later. However, before that, I wanted to ask Evan several questions." Jon leaned slightly towards the young man. "What do you think about your power, Evan? Do you feel good having it or what? Do you feel so strong because of that power?"
Evan didn't answer and instead looked at his right hand. Not long ago his hands were completely normal, unable to give off the dim light and give life to inanimate objects. All of that happened after that damn dream when he encountered that being of light.
"Honestly, I don't want this power." Evan clenched his right fist. "I don't think I'm that great. In the end, I'm just an ordinary college student. "
Jon nodded his head. "Oh, what an unexpected answer."
"Really?" Shane gave a loud snort. "You're still not grateful for your power? You don't realize how great your hand is? You can make a life, Evan! You really are powerful!"
"In my opinion, a man whose hands can make women climax many times in a short period is the more powerful one," Evan answered casually, then looked at Jon. "Ah, I'm sorry, sir. I'm talking too far."
"Ah, I know who that man is." Mimi, who is still in the form of a cellphone, shouts. "He's on your porn search history list."
Evan patted his forehead. "Can you not tell embarrassing things like that in public?"
"Hehehe …. Sorry, Master. " Mimi answered in a cute tone which made Evan even more annoyed.
Evan was about to speak again when he felt a terrifying aura. Instinctively, Evan turned to Kara. Kara glanced at the young man with blank eyes, but they also seemed to say that Evan was the most despicable creature on earth. Evan immediately hides behind Popo again.
Still smiling, Jon crossed his arms. "Hopefully your statement about you not wanting power is true, Evan. Because that means you won't mess around…. Ah, we've been here too long. Maybe I'll give you a final question. Do you know where your older brother is?"
It took a few seconds for Evan to ask back. "I don't know, sir. Does he have something to do with all this?"
"I can only answer that there is a possibility. Before this, monsters like Kevin appeared in various parts of the world. However, because they mostly move in a dark world, not many people really know about it." Jon's tone was getting serious again. "He is suspected of having links with a criminal organization. It was he who supplied the monsters from this country. That's all I can say."
Rather than being afraid, Evan was more annoyed with his brother. If Dovi hadn't challenged him, Evan wouldn't have been in trouble like this. Whether his brother was a member of a criminal organization or whatever, Evan didn't care. After all, he never met Dovi. Why should he care? His only wish is to live a normal life.
"Looks like that's enough." Jon got up from his chair. "Evan, his father, Popo, and the cell phone girl had to go to a special facility to be examined. For Kara and Shane, you can go home, but before that, you will get a briefing from our members on what to say to your family."
Shane frowned. "Is that all? We were told to go home? How come it's so easy?"
"In fact, it would be even more suspicious if we detained you for too long." For the umpteenth time, Jon smiles. "We are very much avoiding the risk of rumors."
"Aah, it's great that you guys can go home." Evan sighed tiredly. "After all that happened, I just wanted to relax over coffee."
Evan wanted to say relax over coffee and watch porn, but he held back.
"But, I don't want to go home." Shane hissed suddenly.
Everyone else was watching Shane immediately.
"Your family will worry, Shane," Kara said.
Shane got up and pounded the table. "How can I go home without bringing my damn scooter!? My parents are going to be so furious! You don't know how terrible my parents are when they get angry!"
Evan sighed tiredly. "At most, your video game console will be confiscated, right?"
"And that's a disaster! A big mistake like this will definitely result in my console being permanently confiscated." Shane grumbled while holding his head. His panicked expression looks too exaggerated. "You know Evan, I can't live without playing a game for just one day!"
Evan was lazy to respond to his friend. Shane is still treated like a child by his parents. He still got childish punishments like that sometimes.
"Take it easy, Shane. We'll buy you the exact same new scooter, really." Jon tried to calm Shane. "But, we need time, you can tell your parents that you got a ticket or something. Later, someone will help you come up with a better excuse."
Shane pondered for a moment with a sad face that again looked exaggerated. "Still, my console will be confiscated for a long time, although not permanently…. Shit !!! "
The young man was about to grab Evan by the collar, but his best friend turned his hand away.
"Just play mobile games instead for a while!" Evan grumbled, getting more and more annoyed.
"Arggghhhh!!!" Shane squeezed his head. "I don't want to play mobile games! I want to play the game with the best graphics!"
"I think it's time we let him." Kara made a suggestion.
Shane was already in the corner of the room, crouched down, and pressed his forehead against the wall.
"I agree." Evan was about to turn to Jon to ask again, but he found something wrong with Popo. The potato chip girl sat on the chair with a deep bow, and her mouth let out a sobbing sound. Evan hurried over and squatted in front of that girl. He was very surprised when he found that Popo was crying. "Popo? What is wrong with you?"
Suddenly, Evan's cell phone lights up brightly. Mimi's figure appeared after the light disappeared a few seconds later. The cell phone girl climbed down from the table and walked over to the master. "I'm so sorry, Master."
Evan got even more confused. He didn't understand why Mimi's face looked so sad.
