Taking a leisurely stroll so as not to be suspicious, Fiona walked into a 24-hour cafe. In the cafe where there were very few people, she ordered a drink, then came to a girl in a hat sitting at the far end.
"So did your escape go well, Fiona?" Kara asked while sipping her cappuccino.
"Well, I have to stun some people." Fiona, who had just sat down, shrugged. "How about you?"
"Same thing. I hope none of them die. Maybe I was too harsh on some of them." Kara grimaced. "By the way, I don't understand why your boyfriend agreed with Dovi's plan. Evan had his blood drawn, right? That means he gave his consent."
Fiona took a deep breath. "Maybe they used a method that Evan doesn't know about. Maybe my boyfriend was forced to. Or maybe he wanted to because he knew I could run away. But, that means he's selfish, even though I said that I'm not ready to have children yet."
