Finally, the night of the place arrived. Evan sat by the bonfire, looking up at the stars and the pink moon in the sky. Meanwhile, his companions slept near the edge of the leafy forest.
Evan's mind drifted to his original world. He was worried whether Fiona would be okay. Is Fiona not injured? What if she is hospitalized and no one pays for her? And an even worse possibility is that Fiona meets a government agent. Will Fiona be able to hide her identity without Evan's help?
"I still can't believe all this isn't real."
Evan looked back to find Kara approaching him.
"Now it's my turn to stand guard." Kara said, then sat down next to Evan.
Evan looked back up at the sky. "Later, I'm not sleepy."
"We haven't seen each other in a long time, but we haven't had much time to chat. So, how are you, how is your father, how is Mr. Jon, Mr. Anderson and the others? Are you in college again…"
