Peach had already closed the door before he could protest. Holding up the second bag of ice cream, he realized she'd given him Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry and sighed, " My name's not Cai though ".
He closed the door behind him and saw Jubilee had fallen asleep on the couch. She had her head in her hands which was on the headrest and she was facing the door. Adele was slightly annoyed and mumbled to herself, " That is no way for a girl to sleep ".
Mordecai frowned slightly, putting the ice cream down on the table next to the door, " If she's in her own place, I think she can do as she please ". Though Mordecai had kept his temper in check, Adele was surprised by the coldness of his tone.
" I didn't mean it that way ". Mordecai glanced at her, picking Jubilee up " Unfortunately, I took it the that way ". Jubilee seemed to wake up but was very drowsy, " You're back "?
He nodded, all smiles again " Yeah, you didn't have to wait up for me ". She yawned lightly, " But I was worried ". He smiled, using his toes to open her door, " I got you a lot of ice cream so you should get some sleep ".
Lloyd had gone out on the terrace earlier and walked back in to see Adele fiddling with her fingers, something she did when she felt guilty " What did you do "? She looked into the hallway, " I might have said the wrong thing and now Mordecai's mad at me ".
He sighed, looking at the couch Jubilee had slept on " You should really avoid nitpicking his sister. You know he hates it ". Adele pursed her lips and nodded, " I spoke without thinking again ".
Lloyd nodded, " Yes you did. He'll be in a bad mood for a while ". Adele frowned slightly, " You're not very good at comforting people ". He shrugged, sitting down " You walk into someone else place after they've been nice enough to let you stay and start nitpicking his people. I'd be just as upset ".
She threw a pillow at him and he caught it easily, " I'm simply stating facts grandma ". Mordecai clenched his fists after hearing Lloyd's words and relaxed [ Think happy thoughts....like how they're leaving tomorrow ]
He walked out, " Your rooms are ready. Brother Lloyd can have the room on the right while Grandma has the one on the left ". He walked past them and put the two bags of ice Cream in the freezer.
He smiled as he turned off almost all the lights and took a bow, " Good night " and went to his room. Lloyd couldn't help but laugh as he looked at the now empty hallway, " What did you say to upset him so much "?

They hadn't been fast enough and got to the building when it was two minutes after midnight. Peach was a bit scared, " Are we in trouble "? Chase shook his head lightly, " Nah, we have about eight minutes till that actually happens ".
Peach was the first to react as she pulled at his cheeks angrily, " So you mean I was jumping on top of car roofs for nothing ". Dylan pulled her off, glaring at Chase " Stop it. Though he does deserve it ".
He hid behind Kofi while Peach struggled against Dylan's grip, quietly seething " I will deal with you ". Kofi sighed as the elevator opened, " Let's just get some sleep, we can deal with him later ".
Peach calmed down and Dylan dropped her. She glared at Chase angrily, opening the door " You're done for ". Dylan and Chase were surprised by the place. Kofi simply threw her shoes off and jumped on the couch, " I see you like our new place ".
Dylan nodded, " Of course I do ". Chase nodded, trying his best to not incur Peach's wrath. She suddenly appeared from her room, smiling " Then you should see our indoor gym ". .
Dylan gasped with excitement as he sat on the floor, " I'm never leaving this place. I'm moving in "! Kofi rolled her eyes at him, " Then we'll split the rent ". He nodded seriously, " How much "?
Kofi laughed, " You're serious "? Dylan nodded, " I'll do anything ". She held out a white bag of ice cream, " Can you give this to Cai for me. He should be right outside ". He got up and took the bag from her, " Why "?
She shrugged, lying down " He's would have melted by now and you just said you'll do anything ". He sighed as he walked to the door and opened it and there he was. Dylan shrugged as he held it out [ He should be Cai. Makes my work easier ] Having delivered the parcel, he went back in only to discover she'd falling asleep, with one leg on the floor and the other dangling over the couch.
Peach spoke quietly so as not to wake her, " You're rooms are ready. Chase's next to Kofi and your's next to mine ". Chase frowned slightly, " Can't I swap with Dylan "? Peach raised an eyebrow. " No. I'm still mad at you ".
Chase laughed nervously, carefully picking Kofi up " Not that I don't deserve that anger ". She nodded slowly, " That's what I thought ". Dylan waved him off, following after Peach while laughing " Hope you make it through the night ".
He sighed as he looked down at Kofi and began walking towards the rooms, " I hope so too ".
