" I can't believe we're doing this ". Peach crouched low as she watched the other squad members run past. Chase sighed, drawing in the sand " Better than running around like headless chickens ".
Dylan whispered harshly as he looked at them, " Is it? Is it really "? Kofi put down her mask and smiled, " Let's look at the bright side. We're all alive and these suits are comfy ".
They all stared at her blankly and shook their heads. Chase sighed, " Not the time Kofi. Not the time ". She nodded and looked to the other side again, " Let's just keep going before they find their naked men ".
Dylan nodded slowly, " I never thought I'd hear a sentence like that and understand it ". Peach smiled slightly, " I never thought I'd steal clothes from a corpse either " and they headed out.

Luckily the students hadn't gone too far and were quickly evacuated with no sort of losses. There were only eight students left. Kofi's team and Dylan's former team. " Is this really the time to be checking the time "?
Byran frowned slightly, " Remind me again why the terrain is not roadworthy ". Hawk smirked as he glanced at him, " Cos you thought it was fun watching the students struggle with it ".
Byran nodded thoughtfully, " Oh yeah, I forgot about that ". He laughed to himself, " It was funny ". Hawk sighed, " When do you think backup's getting here "? Byran shrugged, " Pretty soon. I think Odette's coming with them too ".
Hawk groaned, " Do we really need The Mad Hatter in this sort of situation "? Byran laughed nervously, " I couldn't stop her, even if I wanted to ". Hawk shook his head in annoyance [ Such a henpecked man ] " You're still afraid of her, aren't you "? Byran suddenly doubled his speed [ You're not the one she's upset with ] " We have students to save ".

They're disguises were working really well and Kofi would occasionally kill a few, said something about tricking the enemy. Kofi for one was extremely happy, she had managed to get to level nine and had to kill one more to get to level ten.
She clenched her fists with a smile, " That'll be fun ". [ Then I can start squashing bugs ] Peach was worried about her poisons. She was almost out and running out of ways to use it too.
" Where exactly are we going Fifi "? Kofi glanced at her, " To the next checkpoint ". Chase whispered loudly, " We are? What! Why "? Kofi resumed her lookout, " This entire place is under surveillance. The higher ups would have realized what's happening by now. And it's not like we can go back ".
Peach nodded, " That sounds reasonable ". Chase looked to Dylan, " Try and talk some sense into them please ". Dylan sighed, clicking his tongue " They're not wrong ".
Chase screamed internally, " What's gotten into you three "? They pointed at Kofi and Peach sighed, " I guess the worst that could happen is we all die right ". Kofi nodded, " Yeah, you're finally getting it ".
The silver gate was hidden among the trees, no clearing this time but it would be difficult to maneuver ones way through the complex branches. Peach frowned slightly [ I don't want to get scratched ] " How do we get to the other side "?
Kofi jumped and climbed up a branch, " We take the monkey way as Dylan likes to call it ". They nodded and climbed up as well, " Do we lose the uniforms now or what "? Dylan shrugged, " Better to lose it now. We wouldn't be able to explain why we were going in the opposite direction anyway ".
They nodded and took their disguises off. Kofi leaped to the next tree with a smile, " Let's be quick about it then ". Dylan had done a lot of climbing exercises in training and seemed to be a natural at it. Peach was holding up well too, she often climbed trees back home to get herbs so this wasn't too difficult for her. Chase had also gotten used to it so they moved even faster.
Kofi jumped down first and walked to the gate casually, " We don't even know what level we're on ". Dylan shrugged as he jumped down after her, " Does it really matter. Staying alive is the priority ".
Peach had lost her grip as she tried to climb down, she wasn't a very good jumper and Dylan caught her, putting her down as he argued with Kofi, " Will you put your damn hand on the other side already "?
Chase simply used the branches as a sort of staircase till he touched the floor. Kofi rolled her eyes, stepping on the other side " You don't have to be so gruff about it ". She looked at her wrist band, " It says level thirteen ".
Peach tilted her head to the side, surprised and confused " Really? How is that even possible "? Kofi suddenly laughed and showed them her wristband with the words level 25 written boldly on it " Just kidding ".
They were about to celebrate when Kofi heard a slight rustling in the bushes behind her. She rushed back and managed to push the others down to the ground as the sudden and rapid gun fire hit the trees instead. Kofi frowned slightly, sitting up " You guys are really beginning to get on my nerves ".
