Even with their slinked arms back on track, she reached for his hand. Once touched, their fingers intertwined, no gaps left found in between. Both noticed the surge of warmth from their clasped hands.
They looked at each other in the eyes, and the two laughed like there was no tomorrow. Even with their guise, there was no hint of malice found.
