As the giant futuristic cannons charged themselves, crimson lightning began to escape from their barrels. It didn't take a while before the orders were given to them. It was time for them to fire everything they got toward their enemies and effectively decimate the heretics of Azathoth. Such was the mission. It was the reason they were created.
Without wasting too much time, a cylinder slid within the cannons, resulting in a gigantic explosion that escaped through the barrel and the vents below the mounted guns.
*BOOM!!!*
At its firing stage, the release sounded like an explosion. The shells within the giant cannons then exited through the barrels as a ray of crimson lightning followed behind them. They passed through the heavens at a near-immediate speed. It was the first time such cannons were fired other than in the simulations conducted within Azathoth.
The results were much more apparent than they had expected.
