2: Abduction
Ally tried to open her eyes slowly when she felt someone was shaking her shoulders. Someone was trying to wake her up. She groaned. Her body aching all over. Like she was slammed into something really, really hard before she lost her consciousness.
Blinking, Ally saw a woman hovering over her with a worried expression on her face. Her skin mocha brown, her eyes wide and dark chocolate in colour, and her nose, it's small and cute; familiar Filipina features for a woman like her...
"Are you okay?" The woman asked her in English. "Yes, I'm okay. Just a little sore but nonetheless okay..."
Ally studied her surroundings "Where are we?"
She asked since she's Filipino herself and apparently they were in a semi-dark room with only a little light illuminating them above their heads.
"I don't know..." The woman replied back, still worried, "But I can hear engines working from here so it seems were in a plane or something..."
Ally frowned.
A plane?
She wanted to ask more questions but it looks like she was as clueless as she was so Ally shut her mouth and stayed quiet for a while, gathering her thoughts.
Suddenly, the door of their room hummed and split open. Revealing an insect looking creature standing in 4 legs and a woman hang unconsciously like a rag doll in his arm.
What... What is that!
Ally's face paled in horror.
The creature made a screeching sound from it's mouth before throwing the woman inside with them in the room. They treated her like cattle and it's obvious that's how they see them.
The creature then turned its scally back from them and the door hummed close behind him, imprisoning the women inside once more...
"Oh my God..." Ally couldn't believe what she just saw.
There weren't in a plane... They were in a space ship!

Hours later...
The alien creatures came back and a dozen of times it brought more and more woman in with them in the same condition, all unconscious.
Fear and disgust enveloped Ally chest as she remembered how the creatures looked. They were like a hybrid mixture of an ant and a scorpion! So scary...
While gathering her thoughts, Ally made time to get to know the only Filipino woman in that vessel with her since the others were still sleeping and they were different, each and every one of them.
There's a Westerner, a European; a blond and a red head, and there is also an Asian one. They just don't know which country she's from since all of them were unconscious. Clearly the aliens picked them all over the place.
"It's been some time..." Glenda, the other Filipino woman, whispered to Ally. Her eyes focused on the door as if the creature would come back any minute now.
Ally nodded. Glenda was talking about another female brought in with them. It's been a while and there was no addition to them so far.
"I noticed." Ally counted their numbers in her mind. Twelve. "Looks like their finished adding more to us now that were full..."
Glen shivered at her words.
"Where do you think they're taking us?" Glenda asked, trembling.
"I have no idea..." Ally shrugged. "Their treatment of us is not exactly 5 star so I'm guessing the place they're taking us will treat us much worse."
"Oh, God..." Glenda started sobbing. She was faint at heart. God thing she didn't lose her mind since she was the verse first human the alien's abducted before her.
Ally buried her head between her knees and rocked herself back and forth. She understands Glenda though. Everything that's happening to her right now must be too hard for her. It was the same for her too.
Before she was abducted, she was drowning herself with alcohol when she found out about her fake husband's betrayal. Then she was about to throw herself off a building when a beam of light took her off the roof and the next thing she knew, she was unconscious. She woke up here with Glenda. And they we're the first two women the aliens have abducted.
Hours later...
The women around them woke up one by one. And each of them had the same reactions, fear and even more fear when they saw the ugly insect aliens coming back with a disgusting green goo that they consider was food for them- It's not. It smelled like the sewers and no one ate it. Even when they were extremely hungry.
The last one who woke up had a panic attack. Good thing there was a doctor among them so she was able to help her calm down.
All twelve of them sat there, talking about what they remember before they got abducted. Most of them were the same. All of them we're alone when they got beamed up so no one saw them disappear. The aliens chose their targets carefully...
Days later...
Ally didn't know how long they've been dumped there by the Unzak. They were an alien race of human sized insects who scavenge the universe like a parasite. Among the 12 of them, Ally was injected with a chip-like universal translator in her neck since she's the quiet and calm one among the humans they've abducted. And so far Ally has learned that the Unzak has abducted them for the sole purpose of selling them as slaves in the black market. She heard one of the Unzak guards say that information when they were discussing things about their destination and some Draxian Imperial Police roaming around.
She didn't understand much from the conversation, they were all new terms to her so she didn't get any of them. But one thing is clear, they were being transported into a planet where selling slaves was legal.
"What do we do?" Paulin, the European one, asked when she revealed to the group what she has discovered from their abductors.
"I don't know. Unless we have a 100% certainty that we can defeat those aliens and maneuver this ship back to Earth, we're pretty much stuck here." I said. And they all sat there quietly, thinking by themselves.
What she said was true. They are powerless. Weapon less. And all of them are weak since they haven't eaten anything the Unzak has brought them except the purple liquid that oddly tasted like lemon juice to quench their thirst.
Ally knew that resisting to a stronger force will only get them killed, or worse, tortured. If they don't do what the Unzak required from them, a harsher fate awaits them. Those creatures appear irritable and easily riled. Good thing they haven't annoyed them yet.
So the only survival thing they can do, was to do nothing. When that fact sank into her fellow cell mates, they either started crying or became depressed as they sat there, quietly.
Either way, that's all that they can do. Knowing how helpless and powerless they are. They can only express our frustration and sadness towards the situation. Nothing more.
They all awaited what happens to them next, and Ally was sure it's going to be a torturous path their going to tread.

Ally doesn't know how long they've been huddling there like animals seeking each others warmth, but she felt like the engine stop and that woke her up.
Her fellow humans woke up as well and they look at each, knowing that they might have arrived at their destination.
"We slept the whole way..." The red haired woman Kris weakly said.
"Yeah, didn't feel anything before the engine stopped." Erin answered, stretching her arms a little.
All of their sleeping positions were uncomfortable, but they feel safe when they're together.
"I wish we have a window so we can see where we are." The youngest among them said. Her name is Quin, and she's half Indonesian, and American.
She was a highschool student before her abduction, she was already in her senior year. All of them feel bad for her coz she's still so young. She still has a future waiting ahead of her!
But life doesn't have it's favourites...
"Prison cells have no windows, Quin. And even if we have a window, we wouldn't know- exactly- where we are. We're not on Earth anymore..." Erin strongly said, stating the facts of their situation.
Suddenly, the door hummed and they all backed away in the corner like scared rabbits when it opened.
On the other side of the door was not Unzak. He was humanoid. There's a head above his shoulders, two arms, and two legs.
The only difference is that he has a horn in the middle of his forehead; and his hair was fiery red in colour, like literal red; his skin pale white he almost looked like he was glowing; and his eyes, they were golden.
Wow! This alien is hot. Like those otherworldly heroes in dark fantasy novels- kind of hot.
The male alien traveled his eyes among us. Assessing us clinically with a cold glint in his eyes.
Suddenly, another alien appeared behind him. And he has the same similar features except that he has two horns protruding from his forehead.
After doing a gesture that looked like a salute, the two horn alien spoke, "Commander, the ship is clear."
Ally's eyes widen at that.
She can understand them... She can understand them loud and clear. The universal translator works on them, it seems. And that's good... Hold up. Commander? The red head hotty is actually... a commander?
"Good." His low authoritative voice reached her ears. "Did you get any information about the Drun?"
Drun?
"Unfortunately, no, sir. The Unzak erased all their data before we boarded. They knew they wouldn't win so they made precautionary actions ahead of time..."
Ally gasped, her gasp soft enough that the two aliens didn't hear her react. They'd know she can understand them if they heard.
So, the Unzak are dead...
And these horned aliens killed them.
The commander sighed. "Can you send them back to their home planet?" He said, and Ally's heart hammered inside her chest at his words.
Seems like they were saved by the good guys.
She can go back... They can all go back!
The two horned alien looked at the strange creatures huddled in the corner of the prison cell.
They flinched at his dark gaze. They all don't understand what they were talking about so they were afraid. But Ally can understand them. And she's waiting for the confirmation that these horned Aliens can actually bring them home. To earth.
"My apologies, commander. The location of their home world was deleted with the others. I cannot do what you ask."
"What?"
Ally reacted so hard that she shouted her lungs out.
How is this possible? Don't tell me we can't go back home!
All of the people in the prison cell looked at her. Including the commander and the male alien beside him.
Ally blinked. Uh oh. Did she just... reveal herself?
