The devil now looked extremely terrifying in this red mist filled area, it emanated a bloodthirsty aura and it was heavily breathing out smokes out of its mouth.
At this moment, the red devil's eyes had fully turned red as if it was in its maddened state while the hooded woman was still in the midst of casting complicated hand seals.
One could see that the air around the woman was constantly rippling, waves after waves of Will Energy were being leaked from the spell that the woman was casting.
Both of them looked extremely dangerous and they would erupt with their greatest strength at any moment.
One thing's for sure is that the one who would manage to land the first strike on their opponent would gain the advantage.
Then, the red devil and the hooded woman glared at their opponents with their intense killing intent.
Red Devil's Racial Talent: Bloodthirst!
Mental Domain!
The red devil had entirely lost its mind due to it using the racial talent of the red devils, this talent would amplify the power, speed, and defense of a devil while making it lose control of its body throughout the talent's duration.
The duration and amplification of its overall abilities would depend on the devil's willpower and bloodline stage itself.
Inferior Red Devil would have a 10% amplification and a duration of a whole minute, Lesser Red Devil would have a 15% amplification and a duration of 3 minutes, while the Greater Red Devil would have an amplification of 20% and the duration of the talent would last for at least a whole 5 minutes.
The Red Devil in front of her is an Ancestral Red Devil which had an astonishing amount of its racial talent amplification of 50% and this would last for an entire hour!
The only downside was that throughout the duration of its talent, it wouldn't have any control of its body as its body would be driven by its wild beastly instincts of attacking and/or killing anyone that it would see.
Meanwhile, the [ Mental Domain ] skill that the unknown woman had casted had the same effects as the one that Qianna had created.
The only difference was that the domain that the hooded woman had casted was on an entirely different level than Qianna's.
While the woman is inside the domain, it would give the woman a series of buffs on her physical body and amplifications on her various skills.
The mental domain granted the woman an astonishing amount of a 100% amplification of her Will Stat and a 50% increase in effects of all of her psychic skills!
The mental domain would also give her a minuscule chance of 0.1% to reset the cooldown of all her psychic skills as well as an almost impossible chance of 0.0001% to instantly cast any of her skills for as long as 5 seconds.
The domain would also subtly affect the willpower of the enemies inside its radius, their will defense would decrease as time passed while they're inside the domain.
This means that the damage and effects of her skill would increase as the enemy's will defense decreases.
To say the least, this is a terrifying skill that benefits the user and weakens the enemies.
After the mental domain was established the woman immediately fell back while waving her hands around and planting various kinds of psychic traps that affect intelligence, will, emotions, etc.
Meanwhile, after the devil completed its bloodthirst state it immediately found its target running around the room thus it flew after the woman baring its sharp claws while its devil wings flapped with great power.
The speed of the devil was faster than the woman but it would always encounter the pesky traps that the woman had set up thus its speed lessened considerably.
The woman continued planting traps and she found that the traps should be sufficient to stall for some time for her to cast an offensive skill.
She stopped in her tracks and immediately went on to rapidly form psychedelic hand seals, she occasionally emitted a mystical aura around her, the hooded woman looked elusive and mysterious.
The devil had already destroyed most of the traps that the woman had planted and it ferociously glared at the woman while continuously walking his way towards the woman through brute force.
The way the devil dealt with the planted traps could be said to be extremely primitive and disorderly like that of an unintelligent wild beast.
It waved its claws around if it triggered a trap that it could attack while it would howl painfully if it triggered a trap that attacked its mind, but even when it sustained a tremendous amount of damage to its body, it still stubbornly continued its way towards the woman.
The maddened red eyes of the devil suddenly regained a bit of its clarity and then it changed its stance and lowered its body for a bit while aiming its right claw towards the woman.
Aerial Ripping Claws!
The devil abruptly flew out of its place and its sharp claws were aimed at the shocked woman.
A terrifying skill was used by the devil and its clear eyes became muddled again after it used a skill but the wild devil did not stop the trajectory of the skill and it even adjusted its aim and targeted the neck of the woman.
It was as if the devil was hoping to kill the woman with this one strike.
The traps that the claws encountered instantly broke one by one under the frightening momentum of the devil's claws.
The woman felt the fast approaching of the devil but she could not stop her casting thus she gritted her teeth and readied herself to bear the brunt of the devil's terrifying claw attack.
She had no choice as it was out of her expectation that the devil had suddenly regained a momentary clarity.
She knew about the racial talent of the devils and knew that they would lose all their rationality the moment they used this talent of theirs.
Thus, she had planted traps to stall for time as she knew that the devil would definitely trigger each of them but she did not expect this sudden situation at all.
The meticulously laid-out traps became useless and did not manage to buy her enough of the calculated time that she assumed.
The terrifyingly sharp claws arrived and it was about to cut her neck when she took a step back, the claws did not manage to slice her neck but they instead penetrated and ripped her long black robe apart.
There was the sound of a clang, tearing of fabric, and deafening sharp noise of friction as the claws continued their way down to the ground.
Her body which she hid from the public was all exposed in front of the mad devil.
Her long snow-white hair fell like that of a beautiful white star shower, she wore a golden short dress that covered her down to her legs.
The chest part of the dress (bodice) was embroidered with a large circular six-clawed golden dragon pattern.
The skirt of the dress was made of smooth golden silk that rhythmically danced with each of her movements.
Behind the dress was a pair of two long golden laces that almost reached her feet.
The gold dragon in her dress looked identical to that of the cloth that she had used to wrap around the body of The Prophetic Child except for the missing golden-red Phoenix pattern.
Her long jade-like legs were exposed and they appeared extremely smooth and fair, on her feet she wore a pair of golden-red sandals that had a phoenix wing on each of the sandals' sides.
The woman rapidly fell back after the devil ripped her robe apart, her skill was interrupted but the backlash was mostly negated by her mental domain.
The woman threw traps after traps with varying effects while her body rapidly retreated out of the devil's range.
She was silently thinking to herself as she was retreating into safety.
'That was quite dangerous, if not for my sect's armor dress then I would've been torn to shreds by the terrifying sharpness of that devil's claws...'
She could see the devil approaching her menacingly, its pace though quite slow but she was sure that it would be able to approach her if it was given more time.
Her expression turned grim, she tightly frowned and her eyes were extremely gloomy as she thought that she could not possibly last for a long time with the limited amount of traps in her storage space.
Her face was still covered by the black hood that strangely remained rooted on her head it was as if it was glued on her hair and was unable to leave.
She had long thrown the torned parts of the robe down to the ground already as she was rapidly retreating.
Her exact appearance couldn't be seen but one could vaguely see a trace of hesitation flickering out of the woman's snow-white eyes.
It was as if she was deciding something that would be able to help her current situation but it seemed like she would be somehow affected by that thing if she were to really use it.
