Dorothy looked at Mirage with a speechless gaze.
She had no idea if he was just pretending to be dumb by her gesture or really lacked common sense.
Seeing the confused look on his face, she thought, 'He really doesn't know it? How come? Did he live in a cave back then or what?'
Dorothy could only utter a helpless sigh and said. "Money. This means I need money. Give me money, alright? I don't do services for free, after all."
Mirage: "..."
He looked at Dorothy with dumbfounded eyes.
Mirage naturally knew what that gesture means but it was the first that he was asked for money from someone.
He subconsciously didn't treat the clinician as a merchant but instead treated her as a friend(?).
But he didn't really expect that she would ask him for money for her services right now.
He just said to her that he was tight in time and he'd just be back later, right?
