To the West of the kingdom, back in the Bastete duchy, in the mansion of the Bastete family, two of the four members of the family sat in silence. There were dead bodies littered around the room that they were in.
Maore Bastete, the Lady of the house was seated atop a pile of bodies. She was wearing her nightwear, a long silky white dress that fell down her ankles. Her feet were bare, and in her left hand was a long sword. The blade of the sword was red, and some of the blood dripped onto the floor, staining it red.
Her chin rested atop her palm, almost as if she was bored. Her red eyes blinked as she looked at the figure that was at the other corner of the room.
