Lexine groaned as she looked through the assignments that were piled up on her desk. A lot of them were Biology essays or English essays which she would have to complete over one weekend. Only she knew how many times she had cursed Arkien in her mind. If it were not for him sending people to kidnap her, then there was no way that she would have missed all this work.
She looked over the assignments with a frown on her face and pushed her chair back. "I need to drink some tea." She dragged her feet out of the room and walked to the kitchen. Her mother had gone to work despite the fact that it was the weekend. This meant that the house was empty.
