"You are here?" Joey moved his head and followed Sofia's instruction. The large tree was easy for him to see and since Sofia was waving at him, he easily spotted her. "I see you, Sof. Hehe," he mumbled before ending their call. He then quickly jogged forward in her direction.
Sofia watched Joey's figure moving nearer until he arrived in front of her. As she could see his face, there was something that caught her attention first. The visible dark circle under his eyes made Sofia curious if this boy did not sleep the entire night because of Stephen.
She slept around 2 AM but Joey's eye bags seemed to be much worst than hers! His face resembled a panda!
"You look like a zombie, " Sofia started while gazing at Joey's face. The boy was also panting after he sprinted.
"Ahh! I know I look bad. Don't mind it," Joey waved his hand and looked at his face on the reflection of his phone screen.
