{ Present Day-- Illinois, United States }
Keith Hutchins is now at the land auction in the city of Chicago. The sales happening here will decide the future of 10 thousand square miles of lands. The lands will connect a few states in the Midwest region, where it is really in the middle of nowhere.
Keith is now smiling, because there are very little competition in the auction today. His "scare tactic" has worked. All the dead bodies he placed around the land have definitely scared usual commercial buyers and investors. Keith is satisfied to see that there are only two other bidders here today. One of the bidders really is an ally-- which is his boss Senator Rick Powes's partner in energy projects. It's a Canadian energy company that develops petroleum wells. The other bidder is Nitte Hollow Horn, representing Senator Eleanor Abbot.
