"I don't want to be a Salve, too," Mina said to her brother.
Lucky gazed at them in the front mirror.
"But he just used you!"
Sam answered.
"He wanted to be assured of my power."
Mina was trying to mislead herself but she couldn't comprehend why Reona forced her to kill the man. He could do it in his own man.
"Master, can I say something?"
"Yes, Lucky!" Sam stated.
"If he wanted to slave her, he would take her away with the chains of gods but he didn't! He wanted to be assured that Dernove couldn't get close to her and make her his slave."
Sam brushed a hand in his hair. He was worried. Dernove was strange and even his own father didn't know him well.
"He is right, he let me go, a man that wouldn't spare those who harm the shrines just let me leave alive. When I turned my back to him I expected him to cut me from behind but he didn't."
