Back to the Aligners Academy-
After making sure that Delun spent enough time with those machines, commander Chen released all of his trainees. Elan and others were studying in higher grades so they had to leave the boys.
The sky went calm and the yard was full of Aligners, from newbies to the elders. Everyone was buzzing together and watching the three boys.
Elan and Zach strode to the crowd in front of the infirmary. Trying to scatter them, they asked for more help.
"What happened?" Enammer asked.
"Should I remind you the last night's mice?" Delun swiftly grasped that Mark and Bernard were behind that.
They were standing near the crimson roses wall that grew along with the railing wall of IC, separating the buildings from each other. It was odd to see them tight-lipped after messing around because they used to show off to prove that they were perfect Aligners.
"I have told you to zip up your mouth Bernard." Mark complained.
"Why? WB team is full of werewolves and as long as they guard the forest line. One of them must be the drug consumer." Bernard babbled.
"Why are you so idiot? They clearly said that a fay had done that crime. Why are you fooling yourself?"
"Come again? A fay." Their werewolf friend marveled. Bernard never mentioned that a fay was there.
"Yes. Max. But they might be wrong. Neither of the fays can do that, severing a deer to pieces. We are not savage beings." He chuckled with himself.
There were many more things that he added to his story and considered it as a once-in-a-life chance so if any problem happened they would scold the human boys.
"Don't pass the buck to those until they have Karmalin's support." Max suggested.
"So, that was you, rascals!" Rosalina heard them.
"This case is under your team. Isn't it? Go solve it." Mark quipped.
Rosalina bared her paws, showing them rage. She felt a hand over her arm, gazing at the person, Delun shook his head, stopping her for further attempts.
"Leave them to me!" He said and turned his face to the boys who spread that rumor to cause them trouble.
Certainly, they knew that the WB team was about to disband so why not make it easier for their grandfather to gain Karmalin's position in the king's parliament.
"I will solve this case and when I did you shall be the man of your balls to wrap your bags and leave the IC zone." Delun made this bet although knowing that was a tough case that they hadn't many marks and might take up time.
Rosalina cursed under her breath. What did this boy think about this issue? They had been working on it during the last week and only found a bunch of traces that barely could help. How did he dare to make a bet with these disgusting kids?
Mark cringed! He knew that after accepting this condition they had no other choice and his grandfather would become furious, calling them useless.
"Do you have the guts?" Bo approached Delun.
Mark strode ahead and said, "Race against time and solve this case within two days! If you did it, we would leave but if you did unlike that, you are the ones who leave!"
"Three of you! And this stupid team of unity WB will be disbanded." He finished and passed by them.
"What did you do? The commander won't forget this." Rosalina nagged.
"Can you do this, Delun Lee?" A rough familiar voice said, came out from behind the fountain, they turned, and he added, "In a short run. I give you twenty hours or you will be out of my team."
Elan and others appeared behind him. Delun was ashamed for blurting those words. Now he had put their position in danger.
"We will." Enammer stood beside his friends.
"Yes, we will find the person behind this." Delun said, he made a certain decision to solve this.
A flying SR –servant robot- hovered above their heads.
"Bo Wong, Delun Lee! Come to my office." It was a direct voice from Karmalin. The robot flew over directly.
"How did he realize?" Rosalina asked.
"He has a naughty fly robot. He can hear everything through that and mark this; Master is a high fay who can hear every noise. Besides that his tower position allows him to watch everything among these walls." Delun declared. He was sick of every trainee there who thought he was a useless old fay.
"I will go to the Lab! We just realized that this case was under your hand, commander." Enammer said.
"Yes, use those damn strong eyes to find every useful sign. We will join you after this meeting." Delun demanded, tapped on his shoulder, and walked after Bo.
"Commander we have poison courses! Can we get the details later?" Elan asked.
"Go, I will share it with you." He released them and as they scattered he turned to Enammer and continued, "Alright, Cadickus kid, show me what you can do. I am too keen to take that piece of trash."
Enammer headed after him. The crowd behind the Lab door already decreased as the commander showed inside the yard. Descending the stairs a slender fay commander and two others came out of a room, blocked their path.
"Commander Chen!"
"Master Blithe, what a day! Did you just come from Rose Vita?"
The smiles on their faces went crooked as if they were forced to shot them at each other. It was showing that they had picked vague terms of ethics between each other.
"I noticed that you have dilemmas here that needed to be solved so I came to see if my team in here is ready to cover you."
He sneered. Enammer didn't like those merciful taunts. Cover! It was better to say that he was there to take their place in a due course not backing them.
"I am appreciating your favor but we are fine! This case will be solved within twenty-four hours." He assured, not even a single shiver he sensed in his wolfish voice.
"I am sure you will. Have a nice day, commander! Call me for any need." He said, opening the way and taking his leave with those mean fay Aligners that came from Rose Vita.
"They are so proud! The grin on their face bothered me." Enammer stated after made sure they left.
"There is a huge gap between Aligners, kid! If we don't fill it then there will be no chance for Vita."
Commander warned that they must soon solve the case and keep the team to fight for bringing unity. This was a cold war that they must win or leave everything for the parliament.
