Chapter 25 - No crime

Karmalin was a levelheaded man that barely everyone could see he raised his voice. However, this time the boys had submitted for a serious punishment so he couldn't bring them out of trouble.

The hunters were under the control of the king's parliament and those strict people wouldn't allow them to live in relief solely and might tag many accusations to them. He was thinking of a way to release them from everything. Before they make it worse with their sharp language.

"Your highness, please spare us we didn't notice your presence." The commander stated.

All hunters turned their faces to him and knelt on one knee while their fists clenched on the ground.

The stranger halted beside him inside the circle of Gods. Through the black leather mask, still, it was obvious that he wasn't eager to see the room in that situation. The badge on the chest line of his black uniform was golden embroidered wings, nine wings that grew out of a throne.

It was the crown prince sign and it meant that Bo just insulted the king in front of him. It was an awkward crisis but anyway, Bo wasn't a craven who wet his pant after seeing a high position Nobel man.

Their abrupt presence was saying that the king's parliament and those shrines ethereal would prefer to interfere with this case. He had no idea that what his power exactly was and how advanced it could be.

"Rise, Six!" He ordered.

As a ray of moonlight cast his face, those hazel eyes glittered. He took his sight off the commander who stood on his feet while the others were on their knees yet.

The boys were still lost in the wonderment of that why the crown prince emerged there. They stood beside each other, their sights were still wayward and ruthless. It didn't matter if there was mutilation afterward expecting them. So, why bothering to bow for a Nobel who might behead them at any time.

"You idiots! How dare you not bow? He is Prince Edward, the crown prince." Three's scold teased their ears.

What they felt about being in his presence... was nothing! Their reaction was just like the words and the feelings that they had toward the king and the gods.

He bitterly smiled. Almost more than half of Las Vita and Hekhamen believed that his father's throne and his courtiers are useless. But was it a sheer fib? Alternatively, it could be a hurting truth.

That was a good sign that the royals finally moved their legs, going around and eyeing what people have been going through.

The royals had law and that was no one should see their faces. If someone adventurous ever tried to play with such a matter, then execution would be the least retribution. Moreover, no one ever had the guts to pry with this decree.

"Everyone rise! There is no time to waste on rituals. Report quickly, where have you been? I am here almost half an hour." His tune wasn't so friendly.

As they went on their feet, he added, "What happened to you? My team isn't one of those that become maimed in a regular attack."

His team, Bo thought. Weren't the hunters under the direct rule of the king? It meant that the king left everything to the crown prince to challenge him with his other siblings. The king was already a man of mass production!

Bo's sight shifted on Karmalin's blank drastic face although he knew that inwardly he has been amazed by the circumstances. The master of the court disliked that the hunters picked a brutal option toward his pupils. As their adept, he was the only eligible one for punishing either Aligner. But he found no crime if they caused indeed.

If the prince was taking care of underworld matters it meant that he had his heart in the right place.

"We moved to his memories and Lashuka somehow transported us to Dorat country where he rules…"

While the commander was explaining, the prince glanced at him blankly then his eyes slipped on Two, saying, "Tell me the truth, William."

Two was stunned that the prince read his hand immediately but his expression was calm and it was a decent sign. He wasn't furious. His voice in his head had no tension and obviously, he didn't want anyone in the room to realize the fact.

It was a good chance now that Karmalin was there so he could share it with both of them. He moved to their minds saying, "Your highness, the boy is a transporter. He can transport and take everyone with him. let me explain privately."

Karmalin and the prince exchanged a glance.

"Which one of them, are you talking William?" the prince peeked at the boy in Panda short.

"The TECO driver!"

"Why did you hide it from others?" Karmalin asked.

"Because he was the first one who rushed to save me when I was almost clawed in Lashuka's nails and he didn't even discover it."

At the same time, the commander finished his report. His tune already was as if the boys were dangerous criminals.

"Hunters, you are coming with me!" Prince Edward ordered, his sound echoed in the room.

"But, your majesty! We can't trust them. They insulted the king; shall we simply let them go? Maybe they are on Lashuka's side." One objected.

"Maybe! Are you telling me that I must decide out of possibilities?"

"What about the elders and our king?" One persisted.

"One, don't make me break your heart! Just follow my orders."

The prince scolded and turned his face off her, approaching the boys added, "No one can be more reliable than master Karmalin, please take care of everything Master, I will solve this case and we might need your boys."

The prince had been loaded under this responsibility and the terms of his manners always could buy him respect to shut the jaws of his cons.

He was Karmalin's pupil once and this man was the closest person to him. He was the one who acted more as if a father rather than a mentor and never betrayed him.

"Be assured of this, your highness. These boys are loyal to their beliefs despite their young age." Karmalin admitted that he would take the responsibility.
