Kilo's Mother stood in the kitchen while Kilo argued with her again about moving out and getting a 'proper job' as she called it. But Kilo yelled at her and knocked the food out of her hands as he swore and yelled-
"You don't know anything- I pay my rent, why do you want shit from me!" He shouted as his mother stood down the hallway. Before storming away, a weird glitch interfered with this memory as the AI 'Rubix' was instead on the far end of the hall looking at Kilo with fear.
"HËLP MË!" She shouts, as Kilo's feet freeze in shock before Rubix is taken away by black arms and everything around him starts to turn into cubes and disappear. As if to escape from disappearing, Kilo runs in the opposite direction but his Mother stands behind him, but her head isn't there but rather a computer screen!?
Terrified, he screamed-
"Ahhhhhh!" Sitting up in fear on the bed, Kilo saw three kids before him. They stared at him with their own horror struck faces before they ran out screaming and shouting collectively.
'Where?' He wondered as he saw he was in a bed and covered with some thin sheets. 'Wasn't I in my room?' This didn't seem right, he had fallen asleep in his room and he knew he did because he had a fight with his Mother earlier-
"Oh? You're awake, I was wondering why the kids where shouting and saying "scary man is awake", watching the person who just entered Kilo tried to piece together why there was a gamer tag above her head?
Seeing his confusion she sighed knowing there was probably a bunch of questions on his mind. Pointing to where her name would be located sort of she spoke "As it says up here I'm Dixie 02, but you can just call me Dixie"
'This woman knew she had her name floating above her head?'
"You have one too Kilo" hearing his name snapped him out of his thoughts real quick, he went to speak but his voice seemed to die and not want to come out.
As if mentally slapping herself, Dixie put down her bucket and mop and walked up to his bed side.
Grabbing his arm all of a sudden he went to protest but she was somehow way stronger? As if he'd lost all his strength and was now a new born?
Her hand tapped his arm twice in one spot but then looked up at Kilo to apply it. Being confused for a bit before he decided to do it, a piece of his skin on his arm seemed to dissolve. There he saw an empty compartment of some kind!?
'What the fuck!?'
He wanted to shout but his voice wouldn't do it? As Dixie pulled out a small disc and shoved it in his arm the disc suddenly started to turn but no music was played instead Dixie gestured at Kilo.
She then hummed as Kilo's face scrunched up in confusion, she did it again and tapped on her throat.
"You need to hum to write the first frequency lines" as if he'd know what that was. But like she said he attempted to hum a melody, at first nothing happened but then on the third try as if it registered his voice finally came out in a hum.
"You need disc's to talk and other things here, when a disc is put into what we call the baseline, then you can add anything to it. The disc you have there is a normal grey one that isn't built for battle or anything. But can be used for a long time to talk, it should last around 3 months- that is if you don't scream a lot. The louder you are, the more frequency is going to be recorded on your baseline."
'A disc? Baseline? Battle?' There was too much information this woman Dixie was just chucking at him like it was common knowledge? Maybe it was but he couldn't keep up as he clutched his head.
"Dixie, I don't think you should be overwhelming him right now with so much information" came another voice, as Kilo looked up seeing the gamer tag above this new person's head as [Rion X].
"You've been asleep for 4 days since we brought you here. Do you have any clue to where you are, or who you are?"
'That was a trick question right?' He knew who he was but he didn't know these people at all. 'Was it even safe to talk with them and 4 days asleep?' But he'd literally just gone to sleep?!
Holding his head cause it throbbed more he decided to trust a bit in these people for information.
"I don't... I don't understand what you two are saying right now... I don't even know you guys-" As if to make Kilo stop talking he saw Rion's hand was up.
Dixie taking the sudden silence as opportunity spoke, "We will be back later then" cutting off all possible questions Kilo was going to ask.
The two once again left Kilo Ji alone.

"What the hell Dixie? Why would you tell him so much like that?" Rion scolded as Dixie sighed looking at her status and seeing a few messages from a few of her friends before she swiped her arm sideways causing it to disappear before she stopped walking. Rion stopped next to her as she did so,
"What?"
"You remember when we first arrived?" Dixie asked as Rion's face turned blank like it usually is with new people.
"Yeah" Rion finally replied as Dixie looked to the ground, "I thought I could tell him straight up to avoid issues. He's going to have to battle and come to terms that this is now his reality. But not only that, he's the last one to awaken... no one else here is going to tell him the reality of things... we might as well since we picked him up and brought him back"
'A sense of responsibility' thought Rion as he sighed.
"You wanted what was best but you have to remember how it affected us. You can't just shove that on him like it was for us even if it might help him. Most of us want to leave where ever here is, if he goes astray the Cube will take him"
"I know that!" Yelled Dixie as tears streamed her face, "I know that..." she repeated this time in a whisper.
Being bad at providing comfort Rion stood awkwardly with Dixie for a bit in the hallway before he tensely encircled his arms around her. To which she grabbed onto him more and cried.
'I know how you feel' He thought as his hand slowly in an unsure way rubbed her back. "I know you meant the best Dix, but that wouldn't be fair regardless. In truth he deserves to find out himself"
'It wouldn't be long before he did anyway'
