"If you're taking drinking water, why at this early hour? You used to pick up drinking water at midnight." Meghan stated firmly. The woman's eyes looked intently at Sergio.
Sergio swallowed his spit. The man was a little nervous at the sight of his mother's suspicious face.
Then Meghan's gaze went down to see Sergio's naked feet. And the pair of her son's shoes were handed to him.
"Then why aren't you wearing your shoes? What are you waltzing about for?"
"Ah, mother I was just afraid to wake the waiter. So I walk like this."
"Wait.. You're not dressed properly and you haven't changed your night shirt. Tell me, where were you?" Ask Meghan by drawing closer to her son.
The beating of Sergio's heart is pounding. Should he tell his mother the truth? No. If Sergio's telling the truth, Alice will be pissed tomorrow. And, of course, it's not just Alice, but Meghan is definitely gonna be pissed.
