The mysterious person who abducts the twins had a special power embedded within him. David knows this since he had a hunch since he sees the shining eyes of the rebellion member. He knows that the member is being controlled by someone other than the original consciousness of the body.
David is about to strike a deal with the anonymous person, possibly to change his mind about his allegiance to Soo. The explorer tells the anonymous person to let the twins go, he admits that he lost his temper a while ago but none of the rebellion members want to hurt the twins. Tae Min blocks the anonymous figure from another end, he's trapped.
"Stop being so difficult for yourself, I want to propose an idea" David gulps. "It's about Soo, did Soo order you to take these two with you?".
"Yes, if the twins ever fail their mission then I must bring them back" he snorts. "That's what I'm doing right now, don't tamper with my mission".
