"What the heck happened just now?" Crow woke up in his room yet again.
David carries him home since his resistance toward Min Soo's charm attack is low, it knocks him out cold instead of driving him crazy like the rest. Min Soo bit his fingernails anxiously, feeling every texture of his nail.
The young man now understands that his power can overwhelm the enemies if he can use it right, the problem lies in how to differentiate a foe or a friend.
His display of unique abilities is tremendous and the influence is great, but again the Idol cannot fully control the supreme power he wields. The Goddess blesses Min Soo with that power, but he's puzzled as to why the Goddess blesses him with such a dangerous ability that could drive anyone insane.
"It is the proof of your importance, Min Soo" David replies in certain. "As I thought, your arrival here must be the hero in the prophecy".
"What prophecy?" Min Soo raises his eyebrows.
The three men gather in Crow's small hut, making the comfy hut their new base to gather. Crow grumbles vaguely, but David ignores his companion trifling matters. Still, Min Soo can't help but feel like Crow is the only one who's not affected that much from his singing, while David's insanity is still intact.
"I think it's because Crow is scared of relationship, he's the kind of person who is afraid of starting something new" David explains. "His resistance to your charm causes him to faint because he had a certain phobia for attraction".
"Shut up David!" Crow slaps the back of David's head. "You don't have to go and spill everything! I can tell him myself".
His flushed cheeks are transparent for Min Soo to see, like a dog wagging its tail; Crow fangs show a bit while he reverts his face from being seen by the Idol. The dog got out of the bag would be the correct term, in Crow's case. Crow decides to tell Min Soo of his past trauma that involves a woman.
The man once fell in love with someone, but due to a certain event; the man was left alone and the scar remains fresh in his heart. Since then, every time he feels his heart pulsating due to the foreign feelings; he passes out due to embarrassment. Min Soo slightly smiles but at the same time feels pity.
"Alright, here's the thing" David clarifies. "Min Soo, your power needs to be maintained properly".
"I know that well" Min Soo replies solemnly.
Remembering the sight he saw before, Min Soo nods in agreement with David's proposal. Using his ability without practicing could only hurt others. In any case, the only way for Min Soo to grow is to take more quests to improve his skills in magecraft and abilities. David then proposes an idea.
They have to take on lots of quests under David's supervision, he suggests forming a team with the three of them. David, Min Soo, and Crow will be the team that will in charge of the quest. Min Soo will learn to adapt and overcome the trials under the two experienced explorers, which are David and Crow.
Despite Crow's weakness toward affection, he's no ordinary explorer; like David, he's also an S-ranked adventurer. Crow is an explorer that specializes in bounty hunter, the one who usually vanquishes outlaws and captures criminals on the barren street. The man's nickname is the White Wolf, because of his loner personality.
However, Crow is loyal to one person; which is David King his old friend. The two share deep chemistry in the past, David explains that they're best buddies when they were young. Crow's claymore skills are feared; his superiority in using his crystallize ice power to topple other people in terms of skills.
He's also feared amongst the outlaws as a cold-blooded bounty hunter, he doesn't mind killing the outlaw for the rewards if it's necessary. Crow would offer the outlaw the choice of whether he wants to stay alive or die as what he is. Hearing the lore of Crow's tales makes the Idol feel small compared to the other S-ranked explorers.
"Don't worry about it Min Soo" David assures the Idol who is anxious with his skills. "We got your back, Crow, and I will help you out".
"Wait, what!? Why-".
"Just do as I say, idiot" David slaps the back of Crow's head; cutting him off.
David tells the two that sometimes to survive in a guild; you need to form an exploration team. The team can consist of two to four people; in this case three people for Min Soo's team. They can register as a team in the Guild administration. Min Soo gives it thought and think it's a great start to make progress with the help of experienced explorers.
"So what's our team name?" Crow asks out of the blue.
Min Soo's eyes hanging upon David's navy eyes, on the side note David's eyes are also gazing upon Min Soo's bronze eyes. The two of them exchange intense gazes, Crow only stares at the two lovebirds before them oozing the aura of lovestruck. The wild man set his distances apart from the two lovebirds.
"Sure, leave me out of this" Crow snarls. "I don't wanna get in the way of your-".
"How about Seoul? It's the name of your homeland" David adds out of nowhere.
Crow's jaws gaped as he hears the word 'Seoul' coming out of David's mouth; he wouldn't have thought David would sink to his feelings that low. Crow doesn't even know Min Soo's past in the first place, the man doesn't know why Min Soo holds a special position in Sanctum Luminera.
"Ah, Crow doesn't know about your origin Min Soo" David looks at Min Soo. "I thought for sure that not telling it is the best idea, but I guess I'll tell him".
"Sure, go ahead" Min Soo agrees.
David tells Min Soo's origin to Crow in hope that he understands the gravity of the situation.
