Sitting next to the unconscious David, the man named David grows pale. David can't believe what he hears, or at least he thought his journey with Yue will continue as it is. Vayu tells him that Yue needs to be sacrificed to Soo so that he regains his humanity back. After all, Soo has implanted himself with various parts of other creatures.
Vayu explains the Soo they all watched is not the true Soo, he uses glamour to hide what he became. The evil ruler is nothing but the embodiment of sorrow and resentment, the pain he received from the Gods left a deep scar in his heart. His heart shattered into pieces, along with the humanity he cast away for him to gain much greater power to avenge his beloved.
