David climbs through Tanem City's roof, scouting the whole city from the church's roof. He catches a glimpse of the sanctuary Carla speaks of in the middle of the city. Entering the sanctuary, there's no sign of life in the sanctuary.
Not even plants can grow in that hectic place, David throws the trashes away from the sanctuary, it's piling up like mountains since it's unoccupied. He's quick with his hands, he brainstorms on how to find Gardis Root in the middle of this heap of trashes. David clicks his tongue, frustrated that he can't find any.
He then walks away from the abandoned sanctuary, he circles the city several times. The demons are lurking around the city. However, he finds something peculiar about one demon that stays next to the sanctuary. It bites onto something, a golden branch on its mouth is shown on its filthy mouth.
