David knows Chronos for a reason, his family has been investigating Chronos's whereabouts for decades. The King's family believes in the superiority of the Time God. Surely, this only means that the King family has always been working in the shadow to set the history of Chronos's God right.
The source of information for Chronos's God is limited, hence it is as if the Time God doesn't want to let Him be exposed to the human's eyes. David's curiosities get the best of him, he asks God why He doesn't want a chronicle of Chronos's divinity to be spread across the realm, like the other gods.
Chronos refuses to be exposed, He doesn't even like the idea of seeing His name be published in the books. However, even He knows well that mankind is a curious creature; the existences of history and chronicles are needed so that they can satiate their hunger for knowledge. David King, for instance, is one of the humans who seek knowledge.
