Ilya could hear a myriad of voices inside her head. Every word that was said made her feel the pain of having her head hit with a mallet.
The pain was bearable. It was a lot tamer than what she had been suffering from all this time.
What she couldn't bear was the fact that she was hearing this voice.
A voice so cursed that she wished she wouldn't hear it for millions of years.
No, that was an underestimate.

Ilya clutched her head, raking her hair with her trembling fingers. She wanted to take the voice out of her head with her own hands.
