Vhelian immediately shut his mouth.
He didn't wish to embarrass himself in front of these esteemed people. His desire to be a Knight was only a desire. He hadn't come to organizing his thoughts regarding his journey to be a part of the Knighthood.
It was not out of impulse that he was making such a decision.
Vhelian truly wanted to be a Knight. He had seen the many capabilities of the Knights of the Empire. Accompanying those capabilities was authority.
The young man wasn't planning on using that authority to exploit those below him. He wasn't even planning on using it at all aside from one instance.
Vhelian coveted to use his authority as a Knight to punish criminals.
It was noble of him to have such a goal. His goal might sound naive to those who would hear it. Be that as it may, Vhelian's mind was being shaped by his circumstances.
