"Tell me this, Duke Gertrude." Hadron said, engaging the Duke in a staredown, "I can't figure out whether you're truly oblivious or just pretending to be."
"What do you mean by that, Vice-Commander Gamarak?" The Duke retorted, clearly displeased by Hadron's remark.
Before giving his rejoinder, Hadron let go of the Count. The man fell to the ground back first, grunting heavily upon impact.
"This big of a crime, I doubt that you aren't aware of it, Duke Gertrude. Even my men, who are preoccupied with their own duties, knew that Sorsiana Hamlin and Henry Hamlin were dealing with a few illegal businesses. But you, Duke Gertrude, you are the Prime Minister."
Hadron began making his way towards the Duke. His steps were as loud as his apprehensions towards Duke Gertrude.
Once he was an arm's span away from the Duke, Hadron ceased walking. For a brief while, he just stared at the Duke, wondering what the man was thinking.
