Within the basement, the air was musty. The sole window that could be found on the floor didn't contribute to the ventilation at all.
Added to the fact that there were more than ten people currently in the basement, both the Duke and the Vice-commander could hardly take a proper breath as they descended.
Since it was dark, Hadron took it upon himself to conjure a simple light orb that managed to light up the entire space.
"Where is Horen?" The Duke asked the soldiers.
"We placed him inside that room, My Lord." The soldier said as he pointed in the direction of the aforementioned room, "I'll guide you."
In less than no time, the Duke and the Vice-commander were in front of the door leading to where Horen was. They could hear him muttering, but it was too incoherent for them to understand.
