The Gertrude Dukedom's estate in the capital was located right at the north-western border. That being the case, Ilya was able to reach Grackenheim valley once again in no time.
For some reason which was unknown to Ilya herself, the valley was the perfect place for her to get some peace of mind. The night had already passed, so the Lady welcomed the darkest part of the morning with open arms.
She sat on the very spot she had occupied earlier, dangling her feet blithely as she took in the vivifying view.
"Finally, a moment of silence." Ilya muttered as she closed her eyes, "I knew that my actions would create a ruckus, but I keep on regretting that I have gotten involved."
She laid down on the ground, not minding how cold it was. To Ilya, it just felt as if she was in the comfort of her bed back at the servants' building.
