Harmonizing with the wind's whistles was Ilya's voice.
She was singing a song, one that she wasn't even familiar with. The Lady welcomed her own being's desire to cascade its sadness that she couldn't relate to.
Her footsteps were as light as the leaves. Her body was as heavy as the thoughts in her mind.
There was a small smile on her face. But tears were running down her eyes.
Ilya didn't know what was happening to herself. She just fixed her gaze on her path, unaware of where it would take her.
The darkness hid her tears, so she thrived calmly through it. The coldness of the surroundings kept the balance in her raging insides.
"People who will leave me, people who I will meet, the passing people and longing, where do they all go?"
Ilya felt something prick her chest, making her choke on her tears. She immediately stopped in her tracks and repeated that part of the song that pained her so.
