"Lady Dantalion, how do you think the Obelisk Sorcerers are faring?" Ilya asked, looking as if her mind was beyond the horizon.
"I'm vouching for their success."
Ilya turned her attention towards the woman, staring at her for a short moment. Sweat trickled down Dantalion's forehead as she resisted meeting the Lady's gaze. Soon enough, Ilya went back to surveying the distance.
However, she had no intention of letting the matter pass.
"You're lying, aren't you, Lady Dantalion?"
"Yes?" Dantalion asked, slowly turning her head opposite of where Ilya was standing. "I don't know what you mean by that, Your Grace."
"It doesn't sound like you have faith in the Obelisk Sorcerers. Even before we've undergone the recursion, you were ceaselessly dissenting their intentions behind closed doors."
