Rather than addressing the system message, Aectaeon continued to desiccate the thug below him.
The sound of flesh being minced thoroughly echoed within the vicinity. The nearby thugs and Aectaeon's allies heard the unusual sound, making them turn towards the man.
The sight repulsed and terrified them at the same time. It was not how brutally Aectaeon was beating the thug. It was the smile on Aectaeon's face that managed to give them horripilation all over their bodies.
Reaching the edges of his eyes, the corners of Aectaeon's mouth looked like they were the sharpest of daggers. A low growl came out of his mouth, adding to his beast-like demeanor.
No one dared to approach the man. They were afraid to suffer the same fate as his current victim.
The strange thing was that even the burliest of thugs were afraid of Aectaeon. There was something about him that made them feel unsettled.
