Feeling his vigor return, Aectaeon was no less than tempted to sprint around the darkness. However, his body still needed to adjust. Moving all of a sudden gave him a few cramps.
"I should've stretched. Oh, well, it's not like I will be needing it beyond this moment."
Before he could blink, Aectaeon began running towards Vernos. Once he was only a meter away from Vernos, the countdown above the Demon's head disappeared.
Vernos immediately swung its arm forward. Aectaeon just stood there and waited for the man's fist to get as near him as possible. The sharp air that hit his face pushed Aectaeon to dock his entire body.
After doing so, Aectaeon turned his body using his right foot as an axis. He was able to land a hit on Vernos' leg in no time.
