"Don't come near me, you Demon! I'll exorcise you!" Aectaeon shouted, which was very uncharacteristic of him.
It's just that he couldn't resist letting out all the pent-up frustration inside of him. His instinct was telling him to run away from his circumstances. But clearly, that was not possible.
Of course, Vernos was not in the right mind to listen to him. The man was unstoppable on making his way towards Aectaeon.
Because of that, Aectaeon became at a loss on what to do. He looked around him despite knowing that it was pointless. Only the darkness would be his companion, and possibly an accomplice.
"Why in the world was I given this mission?! F*ck this and f*ck everything! Can someone just let me out?! You can hear me, right?!"
Unfortunately for Aectaeon, his active audience was quite selective in what requests they wanted to fulfill. Letting him out was not one of them.
