Aectaeon and Vernos' wish to keep their battle private was as reasonable as it could be.
It was mainly because some Meisters would react like the ones outside their cabin. Aectaeon was just thankful that he did not need to deal with the chaos directly, albeit feeling sorry for Lark, Garant, and Yulervan for bearing the brunt of it.
"Meister Hanom, what do you say? Should we allow our battle to be broadcasted?" Aectaeon queried, heaving a sigh as he spoke, "If you're going to ask me, my answer is already a no. I don't want to show how I'm losing right now if I were you."
For sure, Vernos harkened the sarcasm behind the man's voice. Although they both knew that Vernos was on the more perilous side of the battle, he didn't take offense in Aectaeon's words and just chuckled it off.
