Instead of letting Vheirforfeseith go down without a fight, Aectaeon wanted to give the Demon a chance to redeem itself.
By using Genial Ingurgitation, Vheirforfeiseith would be consumed by Borowhicthzs. The latter would be able to absorb the former's remaining HP. Its stats would also be temporarily increased to the amount of points equivalent to what Vheirforfeiseith had.
But the most important effect for Aectaeon was that he could choose five of Vheirforfeiseith's special attacks for Borowhicthzs to utilize. Although the effect would only last for the duration of the battle, the man was satisfied since this move of his might decide whether he could win or not.
It was also a way to spare himself from searching for another Desacralized Elixir.
