"You want to battle…" Vernos then pointed at himself, "Me? But why so sudden?"
Aectaeon shrugged, leaning back on the wall with both of his hands in his pocket.
"No particular reason. Perhaps, I just find participating in the tournament less thrilling than battling you? Would you like to know what kind of tournament format I decided on"
"Well, what is it?"
Turning to face Vernos, Aectaeon gave his rejoinder, "It's one versus many. Meaning, I will have to battle a group of meisters at once. In the event that I lose, someone among the winning group will replace me. Simple enough, isn't it?"
Vernos brought his hand to his chin, nodding as soon as Aectaeon was done speaking. He then titled his head to the side, sighing before he spoke up.
"That does sound annoying, doesn't it? If I'm not mistaken, you're the youngest among the Crimson Meisters, Meister Vali."
