"If I may ask, what rank are you?" Aectaeon asked, his interest piqued by the man's statement all of a sudden.
"Uhh-- I… I'm a Crimson Meister."
"Crimson Meister?"
Aectaeon was no less than stunned at the response, though it didn't show on his face.
Crimson Meister was one rank below Mentor Meister. That being said, their capabilities were still far apart. However, it didn't dismiss the fact that the man in front of Aectaeon was one who was capable of keeping him on his toes.
"You're a Crimson Meister yet you allowed someone to run over you like that? What even happened?"
At first, the man was adamant to speak. There were a lot of Meisters around them. He wasn't prepared to humiliate himself afore Meisters who were of lower rank. But more than that, he didn't want to instill fear in their minds by relaying his ordeal.
After contemplating for a few seconds, he decided to speak as a way to warn his fellow Meisters.
