"Should I or should I not?" Aectaeon contemplated, tapping his finger on the table all the while, "Although I'll learn many things, I prefer going straight into the game."

It took Aectaeon more than a minute to arrive at a decision. Still, he was hesitant to place his finger on his choice. It was to the point that his hands were quivering, making him even more reluctant.

He lowered his head, sighed, and began banging his head lightly on the table. Out of the blue, he remembered the words that Ralkias said a second before they transmigrated.

'The other players will definitely recognize us the next time we return. We won't be able to travel around the Obelisk freely. Let's reorganize once we're back at the Obelisk.'

The man's voice echoed loudly in his head, creating a sort of exigency in his heart.

'How many hours are left before the mass transmigration? If I'm not mistaken, around 8 hours? I highly doubt that I'll be able to guess the game title at the first guessing opportunity. It's either I'll be right on time for the mass transmigration or only a few will be left at the Obelisk.'

Aectaeon was suddenly invigorated by his thoughts. He sat straight up and exhaled his frustrations.

'We'll be able to think of a new way to disguise ourselves. I shouldn't worry about keeping my identity hidden for the time being. It's not like the other players will have access to the 51st floor right away.'

Once he discarded one of his worries, Aectaeon took a deep breath again. He forcefully put a smile on his face and nodded to himself. At that moment, he caught something in the corner of his eye. He quickly took a glance, his forehead contorting once he did.

"Lines?" He muttered as he roamed his gaze around the room, "What are these lines? They weren't there before."

Like he had said, lines were now drawn on the floor. They were drawn in a way that divided the floor into squares, all in the size of a square meter. The lines on his forehead crooked even further.

Dishevelling his hair with his hand, he spoke, "This is killing me. I have no choice but to undergo the tutorial then."

Immediately after, Aectaeon tapped on [[ Yes ]] without looking at the game panels.

{{ Welcome to the Tutorial }}

{{ Demons are creatures of loyalty. They will only allow strong individuals to tame them. }}

"Strong? What is the basis of strong even?" Aectaeon asked, putting his hands over the armrests. "Should I be able to lift a tonne before those demons take pity on me? Or maybe I should be able to wield the magic thing, like shooting fireballs or water cannons through my palms?"

Aectaeon felt a headache brewing, so he shut his eyes briefly. It died down in a few seconds to his relief. Once he opened his eyes, he readily read the next panel.

{{ To tame Demons, Meisters have to subdue their resilient will. Once the Demon has lowered their guard against the Meister, they will not resist being absorbed by the portable device. }}

{{ Portable Devices are devices specially created to store the souls of Demons. The Device has 4 main options for commands: Absorb, Summon, Liberate, Actions. The rest of the options can be explored once the device is on hand. }}

"That's it? That's the tutorial?" Aectaeon exclaimed as gripped the side of his head, "That hardly explains anything."

Though he was complaining, Aectaeon stood up to look for arrows. As luck would have it, he saw an arrow, glowing in a green hue, pointing at the dress cabinet. He took a step forward, but just as he did so, he bumped into something.

"Ouch! What was that?!" He grouched, rubbing his nose to ease the pain that hit it.

The instant he focused his eyes in front, he saw transparent columns all over the room. He scanned the length of the one afore him, finding his gaze at the floor.

"4, 5 inches? Really? So that's what these lines are for. How annoying." Aectaeon spoke as if he was spitting at the floor.

He massaged his nose bridge with his fingers, glaring at the columns

From the corner points of all the squares, extending to a length of five inches towards the sides, glass columns were instated. These columns prevented the players from traveling in a diagonal direction.

For the most part, they were invisible to the players. But when a player collides with one of the columns, every single column in the vicinity would appear for a few seconds.

Since the cabinet was in the opposite corner from the study table, Aectaeon reasonably took the shortest route. But clearly, that was not an option.

"Thank you but you're too late. I already bumped into one."

Aectaeon clicked his tongue as he lowered his hands. Thereafter, he made his way towards the cabinet with heavy feet.

Once he was in front of the cabinet, the arrow disappeared. He proceeded to open the two doors of the cabinet.

He looked for the said device, the arrow guiding him to the piles of clothes at the bottom. Consequently, he carefully took out the pile directly on top of the device. The moment he was done, he saw a pair of black leather gloves and a gadget akin to a wristwatch.

Aectaeon hurriedly picked them up and inspected them.

"Oh, so this watch is the device. I thought it would look like a smartphone or something. I'm glad it's in a convenient form."

There and then, Aectaeon put on the two items.
