Kian became more attentive towards her since that day. But what puzzled him was her stoic silence and her indifference towards the whole matter.
He was still negotiating with Victor, trying to bring him back home for her sake, but she seemed to be disinterested.
"Is this her way of expressing her anger for Victor?" he wondered. He remembered that she had the habit of shutting herself within in the moments of crisis.
