Alysé reached home late in the night. She had expected a warm welcome from her family, but there was no one. "Everyone has gone to bed." - the butler informed her yawningly.
He took her luggage and escorted her to her room. "Would you like a glass of warm milk?" he asked her before leaving.
"No, thank you." She replied.
"Then, I wish you good night and sweet dreams." He said with a bow and left the room.
Alysé sighed and looked at her room. Somehow, it seemed strange to her as if it did not belong to her. She took off her clothes, tossed them in a basket in her dresser, and walked straight to the shower.
A warm shower relaxed her and she slipped into her bed and slept soundly.
She woke up to the scuttle and noise of her cousins. They were swarming all over her room.
"What are you all doing here?" – she asked in surprise.
