Mr Smith looked at Alysé and said – "It won't get resolved even after a month if we leave it to them. What do you propose?"
"Ten per cent stake." She said firmly
Mr Smith shook his head and said - "Now, that's not reasonable with the amount of money we are pumping in. It's just a startup after all. We want stock options and listing priority."
"If we were to go public, why would we partner with you." She said. "We have the goodwill of the public and the investor sentiments are favourable towards us. We can easily capitalize on it and raise money."
"Come on, let's not quarrel on such a small thing!"
Alysé smiled; "We are not unreasonable. We'll treat you well."
Then, she laid out the monetary and stock options they would allow his company. Each point was well explained and discussed until it was agreed upon. Alysé and her team were firm and the Brits had no option but to agree.
