It was the French's turn to serve. He took the ball from the ball boy and dribbled it a couple of times. He looked at his opponent and hit the ball as hard as he could.
There was absolute silence in the stadium. Everyone in the audience was stunned and stupefied.
The ball went smashing at the other end. It was an ace. The crowd and Alysé jumped and cheered.
The next serve was again an ace. The third went down so deep that when it was returned it went outside the court. The fourth serve had similar fate.
Alysé was amazed. She looked at Kian and whispered, "What's going on? What's happening in the breaks?"
Kian laughed hard and loud and the spectators cheered and applauded the French player.
Sometimes crying helps shed the inner tension and puts an end to our inner struggles. Our fears dissipate and our mind eases and is better prepared to accept the situation as it is.
