"Where would you like to go?" Milan had asked Ryan as he steered his car away from the hospital.
"Take me to my father's home. It's been quite a while since I have been there. I want to be with him as much as possible."
Ryan's homecoming was not just a relief for his father but it was a celebration of the life force within all of us, the will of the spirit to live and thrive.
His father was waiting for him along with all the other members of the extended family.
"Welcome back son." Mr Raymond advanced and embraced him with much affection. "I have missed you a lot."
Ryan noticed that there were also tears of painful separation which shined through the joy of reunion in his father's eyes.
"I missed you too dad. I love you." Ryan said and hugged his father again and said, "I am sorry to have been away from you for so long. And I am sorry I did not heed your warnings."
